SriMithuru Family Fun Day is held on Melbourne Cup day. We invite you to book the day and join the fun.
Time: From 10.00 am to 3:00 pm
Venue: Jells Park, Waverley Netball Centre, Waverley Rd, Wheelers Hill
A Netball match, kids cricket match and an Elle game for all ages will be played, followed by a BBQ.
SriMithuru joined the Tree Day 2015 which was held on Sunday, 26th July 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00pm.

SriMithuru Sinhala/Tamil New Year 2015 outdoor traditonal games was held at Sussex Heights Primary School ground, Mount Waverley on 11th of April, 2015. It was a day with friends and relatives and fun filled day for the participants.
Key events:

12.30 pm: Awurudu Kema Mesaya - Plenty of traditional Sri Lankan food and drinks were there to share everyone

SriMithuru Cricket tournament was held on 9th of March 2015 (Labour Day - Public Holiday) at Mulgrave Reserve Grounds, Wheelers Hill VIC 3150. Team registration was opened at 8:30. Following teams led by respective captains/managers joined the tournament.

After the preliminary round matches,four top teams of each groups; SL Stars, Pera Sixes, Full Athal and Kelani Superwent in to semi-finals. Kelani super led by Nilaweera emerged as champions of SriMithuru Cricket 2015 by defeating Pera Sixers by 8 runs in the finals. We would like to congratulate winning team and wish good luck for all the teams in forthcoming tournaments including next SriMithuru Cricket Tournament on March 7, 2016.

What a day it turned out to be.
Young at hearts saw the better of young ones in netball game. Dads were chasing the little men to stop the home runs. Truly a family and fun day
indeed.
Sincere thanks go to all attendees and to be honest, the gathering was more than what we anticipated. This is a pleasing sight and encourages us
to add this event to our annual program.
Thanks to the weather god for allowing our weathermen go home with their heads high. Tireless volunteers deserve a big thank for catering the large
gathering and I'm sure the wood fire BBQ added a taste with a difference.

SriMithuru Bak Maha Sedawa (Cultural and Entertainment Night) was held at Clayton Hall on Sunday 20th April 2014. The function was started with traditional oil lamp lighting by the senior participants’ followed by fancy dress parade.
Colourful cultural performances was stated at 7 pm. Dinner table was opened at 8 pm and cultural performances was continued till 9:15 and then band Mystry entertained the participant till mid night.
Tea/Coffee was available for throughout the night.
It was a fun filled day for a all the participants and we received so many positive feedbacks. Thank you everyone for contribution in numerous ways to the success of the function.

We have successfully concluded the SriMithuru Cricket Tournament 2014. We had 12 teams competing to win the championship. After the preliminary round matches,four top teams of each groups; Cricket Sri Lanka, Kelani Super, Sri Lankan Fire and Kelani Fire went in to semi-finals. After stunning batting performances backed up with accurate bowling, Kelani Fire led by Ravi Hewawisse emerged as champions of SriMithuru Cricket 2014 by defeating Kelani Super in the finals. We would like to congratulate winning team and wish good luck for all the teams in forthcoming tournaments including next SriMithuru Cricket Tournament on March 9, 2015.
It was pleasing to see young teams, The Clan and Cricket Sri Lanka performing well in the tournament. We have no doubts that they will come with all guns blazing when we meet next. It was encouraging sight of over 300 attendees on the ground cheering their teams and enjoying the family environment.
